Granting leave from the series against Australia, Mukesh Kumar, adorned in traditional attire, embarked on this significant journey. The wedding ceremony, held at a resort in Gorakhpur, witnessed Mukesh’s arrival with exuberant dancing and singing alongside wedding guests. The couple exchanged garlands and took seven ceremonial rounds, marking the auspicious union.
The wedding procession, which commenced from Gopalganj in Bihar, arrived at Gulriha in Gorakhpur, where a warm welcome awaited. Subsequently, the festivities continued at the hotel, culminating in a memorable wedding ceremony.
Divya Singh, hailing from Chhapra district in Bihar, had been engaged to Mukesh in February of this year. Following the nuptials, Mukesh Kumar plans to host a reception on December 4 in his village, Berui.
Mukesh, the youngest among three brothers, belongs to a well-established family. His cricket journey began with Under-19 cricket for Bengal, and over time, he earned his place in the Indian team. Making a debut in Test, ODI, and T20 formats during the West Indies tour in 2022, Mukesh Kumar has since left an indelible mark in Indian cricket, showcasing his talent and skills on the international stage.
