Tiger 3 Box Office Collection day 3 Worldwide Collection -Salman Khan’s latest cinematic offering, ‘Tiger 3’, has not only cemented its position as one of the marquee Diwali releases but has also propelled the superstar into a new realm of success.
On Monday, ‘Tiger 3’ achieved a significant milestone by becoming Salman Khan’s 17th film to surpass the Rs 100 crore mark in India. Following a robust performance at the box office in its first two days, the spy thriller amassed an estimated net collection of Rs 102.02 crore.
Salman Khan’s journey with 100-crore films began in 2010 with the release of ‘Dabangg,’ a cop action film that garnered an estimated gross total of Rs 141.24 crore. This success story continued with subsequent blockbusters like ‘Bodyguard’ and ‘Ready,’ which grossed Rs 148.86 crore and Rs 120.82 crore, respectively.
The first installment of the Tiger franchise, ‘Ek Tha Tiger,’ also crossed the coveted 100 crore mark, with a gross total collection of Rs 198.78 crore. Its sequel, ‘Tiger Zinda Hai,’ surpassed the Rs 500 crore mark, earning an estimated Rs 565.1 crore.
‘Tiger 3’ continued Salman Khan’s streak of 100-crore films, adding to his impressive list that includes ‘Jai Ho,’ ‘Tubelight,’ and ‘Kisi Ka Bhai Ki Jaan.’ Notably, Khan’s film ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ set records with a 900 crore collection, while ‘Sultan’ earned an estimated Rs 600 crore at the box office. Family drama ‘Prem Ratan Dhan Payo’ and action flick ‘Kick’ both crossed the Rs 400 crore mark.
On the second day of its release, ‘Tiger 3’ experienced a substantial surge of at least 30% in business, particularly in North India markets, compensating for any underperformance on the first day. The spy action thriller is anticipated to achieve a net collection of approximately Rs 56-57 crores in Hindi, making it the second-highest 2nd-day collection in the original language, only surpassed by Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘Pathaan.’
Although ‘Tiger 3’ experienced a sluggish beginning on its second day due to the ongoing festive activities, the movie witnessed a substantial upturn from noon onwards. The surge was notably driven by a surge in heavy spot bookings.. The extended holiday weekend in the country is expected to bring further gains, particularly in smaller towns and single-screen markets.
As of the latest update, ‘Tiger 3’ has accumulated an estimated net collection of Rs 59 lakh on its third day, comprising advance bookings and early morning shows. The cumulative box office collection for ‘Tiger 3’ over the first three days has now reached an impressive figure of Rs 102.61 crore, encompassing earnings from all language versions.
