A low of minus 6.2 degrees Celsius was reported in Pahalgam, South Kashmir, according to the news organisation Kashmir News Observer (KNO).
Qazigund in South Kashmir recorded a low of minus 4.4 degrees Celsius, while Srinagar, the summer capital of Jammu & Kashmir, shivered at minus 4.8 degrees.
A low of minus 4.0 degrees Celsius has been recorded at the well-known ski resort of Gulmarg.
Kokernag reported a minimum temperature of – 2.7 degrees Celsius, while Kupwara in north Kashmir recorded a low of minus 4.6 degrees Celsius.—(KNO)
