LPG Gas prices in India:New Delhi: In a regrettable development for LPG consumers, oil marketing companies (OMCs) have decided to raise the prices of commercial LPG cylinders by a substantial Rs 209, starting from Sunday, as reported by industry sources. This adjustment means that, effective from October 1, the cost of a 19-kg commercial LPG cylinder in New Delhi will be Rs 1,731.50.

The consequence of this price hike is expected to be felt in the dining out sector, as the cost of preparing meals increases. Notably, this decision comes just a month after OMCs had reduced the prices of commercial LPG cylinders by a significant Rs 158, starting from September 1, which had brought ,This reduction had brought the price down to Rs 1,522 in the capital city.

Furthermore, this latest price hike for commercial LPG cylinders follows shortly after the Central Government had reduced the prices of domestic LPG cylinders by Rs 200 for all connection holders across the country back in August. It’s worth noting that monthly revisions for both commercial and domestic LPG (liquefied petroleum gas) cylinders occur on the first day of each month. In a similar move, OMCs had previously cut the prices of commercial LPG cylinders by Rs 99.75 in August.

The fluctuation in LPG prices remains a topic of concern for consumers, as they navigate these frequent changes in cost.
